Since HTML.edit is developed in the HyperCard environment, I've added an automatic stack compaction feature. Compacting the Editor happens automatically each time you quit if the amount of compactible space exceeds the threshold set by the popUp menu, which defaults to 10%. You can manually compact the Editor by clicking the Compact Now button at any time, or selecting the Compact command from the File menu.

  6. If the Compact Editor on Quit checkbox is not checked, HTML.edit will not compact automatically.

  8. Back to Preferences, on to Libraries Preferences, or return to HTML.edit Features.
